The Richard Scott Joye Trial College

Wednesday, July 17 to Saturday, July 20, 2024
University of South Carolina School of Law
Lodging at the Hilton Garden Inn
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION IS FRIDAY, MARCH 15, 2024.

This is an intensive program that is modeled after the National Criminal Defense College (NCDC) Trial  Practice Institute but in a highly compressed format. This is a passion project for us. We expect only those who are truly dedicated to this profession to apply. The trial college is a hands-on active participation seminar focused on criminal trial advocacy accompanied by the “best of the best” faculty. In short, this program is not meant as a vacation seminar to get away from your family for a few days. You will commit to staying together with your group at the Hilton Garden Inn, and you must attend all meals and social events as this is an integral part of the program.

Tuition for this outstanding program, including ALL meals and accommodations, is only $1000.00. We expect the application process to be competitive because only 12 students will be selected for our inaugural program. Participants will be divided into two groups based on their trial experience.

You will be a better lawyer for committing your valuable time to this noble profession.
